Introduction to Coding and Programming
This course introduces students to the fundamentals of computer programming and logical thinking. Using beginner-friendly coding languages such as Python and Scratch, students will learn how to write simple programs, create animations, and develop problem-solving skills. The course provides hands-on coding exercises that make learning interactive and fun. By the end of the course, students will understand programming logic, functions, loops, and basic algorithms.
The course starts with an introduction to computers, covering hardware and software components. Students will then explore the basics of coding logic, including algorithms and problem-solving techniques. The programming section focuses on writing simple Python scripts and creating animations using Scratch. Advanced topics such as loops, conditionals, and debugging will be introduced to strengthen logical thinking. The course concludes with project-based learning, where students develop small coding projects to apply their skills.
No prior programming experience required. Suitable for students interested in learning coding fundamentals.
Students will have access to online coding platforms, interactive tutorials, and project-based learning activities. Instructor-led coding workshops will also be available.
